Salisbury - Buyer - Salary upto £30k - Manufacturing

My client are leaders in manufacturing and are innovators in the industry. The company are increasingly growing to meet the advancing demands of product development and are looking for a Buyer.

Main Duties:

Order Management: Efficiently order and schedule parts driven by the MRP system.
MRP Accuracy: Ensure the MRP system accurately reflects stock dates, locations, and quantities.
Supplier Coordination: Place purchase orders with suppliers and monitor their progress.
Shipping Arrangements: Coordinate the timely shipping of components to meet supplier demands.
Problem Solving: Locate hard-to-find parts within the supply chain.
Supplier Negotiations: Assist in negotiations with suppliers to optimize costs and terms.
Forecast Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to produce and communicate order forecasts to our suppliers

Key Skills and Experience:

Previous experience within a Buyer/Purchaser type role
Experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment

The salary for the position is upto £30k depending on experience.
