Quality Technician (Aerospace)

Are you from an engineering background looking to a specialist precision engineering firm that operates in the aerospace and defence industries offering a flexible work structure and progression?

This company has been established for four decades and has seen significant growth. Manufacturing precision engineered parts for various sectors including the defence and aerospace sectors.

There is a team of 3 other quality inspectors already working to upkeep the multitude of accreditations this company possesses, including ISO:9001:2015 and AS:9100, the suitable candidate will become a vital asset to the business by expanding this team.


This role will see the suitable candidate carry out routine quality checks to maintain the high standards of the exports of the business. The candidate will be expected to have good communication skills and a sound understanding of quality to talk effectively with customers and suppliers on issues.

The Role:

  • Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm
  • Work to maintain the AS9100 and ISO 9001 accreditations
  • Gather inspection reports to customer requirements
  • Knowledgably communicate with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues
  • Carry out first stage, mid stage and final inspections on products

The Person:

  • Experience in a quality background
  • Familiar with machining
