Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior/Quantity Surveyor with experience within the rail sector working closely a sector within a major rail project.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a section of a major rail project with a leading Network Rail principle contractor. They have a small close knit commercial team allowing for a good working environment.

Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor

  • Accurate monthly forecasting
  • Producing and sending enquiries with relevant documentation to subcontractors
  • Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliations
  • Managing any change and producing compensation events
  • Produce, submit, and agree monthly application with the client
  • Liaise with operational and engineering staff
  • Attending weekly progress meetings
  • Working collaboratively with the bid and estimating team

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor

  • Experience within the rail sector
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar (Desired).
  • Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
