About the Role:

As a Teacher of English, you will:

  • Deliver inspiring and engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
  • Plan, assess, and track student progress to ensure high levels of achievement and progress in line with the national curriculum.
  • Collaborate with the English department to develop innovative schemes of work and teaching resources.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop a love for literature and language.
  • Engage in the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and initiatives.


What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS and a strong subject knowledge in English.
  • Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4 is essential; experience at Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire students to achieve their best.
  • A passion for English education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
