Thrive Group are recruiting for an Administration Assistant on a short term, temporary assignment, with a view to start on the 2nd of September.

This is a full-time position, working 08:30-15:30, Monday-Friday. This position pays £11.85 per hour and is located is Salisbury.

Please note that in order to be considered for this position, you must have a valid DBS check, completed within the last 3 months.

You will be responsible for supporting the administrative, financial and organisational processes and functions. Assisting the office manager in the management of administering all emails and letter to individuals. You will ensure that all records are kept up to date, in line with absence management and reporting procedures. You will support the Office Manager in the management of numbers, finance, invoicing and working with the wider team, as well as assisting with front of house duties including answering the telephone and daily attendance monitoring. Other general administrative tasks could include arranging appointments, accident reporting and arranging transportation. Although this is not limited to, you will do all of this whilst complying with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, welfare, security, confidentiality and data protections, reporting any concerns to the appropriate person.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a valid DBS check, completed within the last 3 months, along with a minimum Level 4 (A-C) qualification in English and Mathematics. You will have strong ICT skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft/ Word and Excel. You will also be an effective communicator with the ability to use initiative and work independently. Similar experience required for his role, ideally working within a school, with a broad understanding of admin processes, including report and letter writing and customer service front facing experience. Knowledge of Data Protection Act/ GDPR and safeguarding would also be desirable.
