As a Children Support Worker, you'll be part of a caring community that provides support and guidance to children and young adults who may face challenges.
Your role will involve:
- Daily care: Providing personal care, assisting with activities, and helping with household chores.
- Individual support: Working with young people to develop their skills and independence.
- Record-keeping: Maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Medication and finances: Ensuring medication is administered correctly and managing financial transactions.
- Collaboration: Working closely with families, educators, and other professionals.
As a Key Worker, you'll also:
- Advocate: Be a voice for young people and ensure their needs are met.
- Connect: Conduct regular meetings and support contact arrangements.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate: Genuinely cares about the well-being of young people.
- Patient: Able to work calmly and effectively in challenging situations.
- Organized: Can manage multiple tasks and keep accurate records.
