Children Support Worker

Swindon

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000

Responsible to: Home Manager/Deputy Manager

As a Children Support Worker, you'll be part of a caring community that provides support and guidance to children and young adults who may face challenges.

Your role will involve:

  • Daily care: Providing personal care, assisting with activities, and helping with household chores.
  • Individual support: Working with young people to develop their skills and independence.
  • Record-keeping: Maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Medication and finances: Ensuring medication is administered correctly and managing financial transactions.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with families, educators, and other professionals.

As a Key Worker, you'll also:

  • Advocate: Be a voice for young people and ensure their needs are met.
  • Connect: Conduct regular meetings and support contact arrangements.
