A highly-regarded primary school in Salisbury are searching for an Autism Support Assistant to be employed on an immediate and long-term basis. The ASD child has an EHCP with explicit targets and outcomes and will necessitate a dedicated and caring individual who will understand the specific needs of this child. The primary school are looking for an Autism Support Assistant who is charismatic, empathetic and demonstrates a genuine desire to make a positive impact to children with SEN. Previous experience with working with children with Autism is admirable for this Autism Support Assistant position.

This is a tremendous opportunity for obtaining experience within the Special Needs and Mental Health sector as you will have the chance in your role as an Autism Support Assistant to observe, work-alongside and collaborate with speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, occupational therapists and teachers with SEN specialisms.
