Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport plant hire equipment to various locations.
- Ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
- Conduct preand post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload plant hire equipment, ensuring secure and safe transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle maintenance.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns from clients.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
- Experience in plant hire operations.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a variety of plant hire equipment.
- Knowledge of local routes and geography.
