Weights Engineer

As a  Weights Engineer / Mass Properties Engineer you will be:

  • Managing mass properties for new designs and changes by analysing production drawings, 2D drawings, change authorities, and Catia models.
  • Conducting mass property modelling for various design activities.
  • Managing mass properties of full aircraft to support final assembly operations.
  • Ensuring the accurate upload of mass properties data for in-service fleets.
  • Managing mass properties for assets involved in flight testing.
  • Performing aircraft and stores weighing activities.
  • Developing and improving mass properties toolsets.

Your skills and experience:

  • Strong numeracy skills and an understanding of data management.
  • Basic knowledge of managing a mass properties system.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables, and visual basic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate across different levels.
