PRESS BRAKE OPERATORS REQUIRED IN CHESHIRE!!!

Do you have Press Brake experience and are you seeking a new permanent job role within the Cheshire area?! If so get in touch with me today as we are recruiting several Press Brake Operators on a permanent contract.

The salary will depend on the hours/shift pattern you choose to work, but this business also offers a £2,000 signing bonus (staggered payment) and regular overtime opportunities paid at T1/3 after 39 hours, and T1/2 after 48 hours.

We are looking for Press Brake Operators who have experience with either AMADA, TRUMPF, Bystronic or Edward Pearson machines and we have several opportunities on the following shift pattern:

  • Day shifts Monday to Friday (39 hours per week)
  • Permanent morning shifts Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)
  • Permanent afternoon shifts Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)

Everyone will initially start on day shifts whilst training and this will mean a slighter lower hourly rate to begin with, but you will have the opportunity to move onto shifts once you've passed a probation period and then you will get a pay increase with shift allowance being added on top of your basic hourly rate.

What You Will Do:

  • Set up and operate press machines (Amada and/or Edward Pearson) with precision.
  • Execute bend and forming operations using both standard and custom punches.
  • Produce parts that are crucial for assembly operations.
  • Adhere to quality control protocols by reading technical drawings and conducting checks on produced work.
  • Transition smoothly between different shift patterns after completing initial training on day shift.
  • Engage in available overtime opportunities to enhance your earnings.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role within the engineering sector.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, late evenings, and nights.
  • A positive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and processes.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of the engineering industry, providing innovative solutions and maintaining a commitment to quality and excellence. The company specialises in the construction equipment, power generation, and general engineering sectors, offering a fully turnkey solution for customer needs. With a focus on constant re-investment in technology and innovation, this role offers the chance to be part of a forward-thinking and progressive team.
