We are looking for a dedicated and caring Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team in Sandbach. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about early childhood education and is committed to providing the highest level of care and support for young children.
Location: Sandbach
Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, keeping accurate records and sharing feedback with parents.
- Promote positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Support the development of individual learning plans to cater to each child’s needs.
Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work with a strong team spirit.
- Enhanced DBS check required (can be processed through the nursery).
