The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Surveyor to join our client in Sandbach Cheshire.Our client is a leading operator in its field and is looking for an experienced surveyor to join the business.The role will involve nationwide coverage to attend site and survey areas for their products.Hours of work 7.30am until 4pm Monday to FridaySalary:£30,000 - £35,000 per annum.Car Allowance + Fuel AllowanceWe are open to candidates who are looking to work on a freelance or employed basis.Job Purpose:To plan and carry out site surveys and design activities, so as to maintain and developDelta Balustrades contracts in accordance with agreed business plans.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Respond to and follow up new orders by telephone or visits, as instructed by the
  • Designer Manager
  • Maintain and develop contacts with customers through planned individual contract
  • support, and liaison with other contracts staff.
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information using
  • the DPMS and Superoffice
  • Report to the Design Manager on key issues and reporting procedures
  • Carry out site surveys as required and produce relevant information for the Design
  • Team
  • Where applicable, produce details and information for purchasing materials and
  • special products
  • Produce concept and design drawings for product development - as required
  • Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for design purposes.
  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform
  • duties and aid business and organisational development.
  • Liaise with external sub-contract designers, if required
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Understand and implement the relevant aspects of the environmental policy and any other
  • responsible requirements

Core Competencies:

  • CSCS card holder
  • Solid edge CAD certificate
  • IT training in Outlook and Excel
