MIG WELDER FABRICATORS NEEDED IN CHESHIRE!!!

Do you have previous MIG Welding and/or Fabrication experience and are you seeking a new permanent job role within the Cheshire area?! If so get in touch with me today as we are recruiting for several MIG Welder & Fabricators on a permanent contract.

The salary will depend on the hours/shift pattern you choose to work, but this business also offers a £2,000 signing bonus (staggered payment) and regular overtime opportunities paid at T1/3 after 39 hours, and T1/2 after 48 hours.

We are looking for MIG Welders and Fabricators who have experience with MIG Welding, Spot Welding, Robot Welding or Fabrication and have previous experience working with Mild Steel.

We have several opportunities on the following shift pattern:

  • Day shifts Monday to Friday (39 hours per week)
  • Permanent morning shifts Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)
  • Permanent afternoon shifts Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)
  • Permanent night shifts Sunday to Thursday (40 hours per week)

Everyone will initially start on day shifts whilst training, but you will have the opportunity to move onto shifts once you've passed a probation period.

What You Will Do:

  • Manufacture fabricating and welding steel frames, structures, and sheet metal fabrications.
  • Evaluate and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and data for product preparation.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections prior to welding, ensuring work adheres to exact tolerances.
  • Perform MIG/TIG welding on steel to a high standard.
  • Bring fabricating experience to the forefront of your daily tasks.
  • Participate in a weld test as part of the interview process, showcasing your skills.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in MIG/TIG welding, with a focus on mild steel.
  • Previous experience with robot welding or spot welding would also be considered.
  • Ability to read, evaluate, and interpret engineering drawings and sketches.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring all work meets strict tolerances.
  • Fabricating experience, essential for the role.
  • Your own weld mask for the weld test, demonstrating readiness and professionalism.
