Jobstore are seeking a skilled Welder to join our client's team in Cheshire, working on high end, specialist Welding and Fabrication projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, assembling, and fabricating various components using different welding techniques.

We are looking for someone to join an existing team on either a Day or Night shift basis, being responsible for;

  • Fabrication (not jig work)
  • Ability to weld from 3mm to 25mm mild steel
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Excellent attendance and timekeeping essential
  • Able to set and maintain a high standard of workmanship
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
  • Ensure all documentation is actioned for accuracy

Applicants must be;

- Proficient in welding techniques and processes
- Mechanical knowledge to operate hand and power tools effectively
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience in assembling and fabricating metal structures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
