A client is seeking a site supervisor (SMSTS) for a project in Winscombe focused on reinstating farmland previously converted into roads for overhead lines from Hinkley Point.
Candidates must have Tier 1 groundworks experience and hold an SMSTS Certificate along with a 'Fit to work' Certificate.
The role involves daily reporting of work progress via Excel spreadsheets and WhatsApp, and requires excellent communication skills and adherence to health and safety practices.
The supervisor will work closely with a team of three, including an excavator driver and a banksman, and report to both the Contract Manager and Project Manager on site.
The position offers a competitive salary, and candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in site supervision.

I am working with a client that is looking for a site supervisor (SMSTS) for a site in Winscombe.
The project is reinstaement of farm land that had been turned into roads for the over head lines from Hinkley Point.

Tier 1 groundworks experience

Working physically together with his/her team
Reporting work progress daily via Excel spreadsheets and Whats App group
Reporting to Contract Manager on site and to Project Manager
Working closely in a team of 3 people with excavator driver and a banksman
Excellent communication skills
Excellent H&S practice
