Shift Times: Monday - Friday, Start times from 04:00 (48 hours per week)
Pay Rate: 15.02 per hour

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• As a Class 1 Driver, your main responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our customers, providing top-notch service along the way.
• Multi-drop deliveries across various customer locations, with occasional collections
• Operating vehicles in compliance with company standards and regulations
• Using a handheld scanner for delivery tracking and accurately completing necessary paperwork
• Conducting routine vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with VOSA regulations
• Handling a variety of deliveries, including goods from Regional Distribution Centres, stores, and home deliveries
• Managing a range of vehicles, including Wagon and Drag combinations and Class 2 rigids
• Covering delivery routes primarily within the M25, with occasional trips to Kent, Portsmouth, and even Swindon
• Unloading deliveries with assistance from pallet pump trucks or forklifts

What You Need to Succeed:

• To thrive in this role, you will need:
• HGV 1 Licence, Digital Tachograph Card, and Driver CPC
• A clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
• Previous multidrop delivery experience
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
• A can-do attitude and a strong commitment to safety and customer service
