TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency has a fantastic opportunity for a Manager, Senior Manager or Partner Designate to join a highly reputable firm of chartered accountants in East Kent.

This position offers fantastic progression prospects with partnership on offer in the near future, for the right candidate.

You will either be a manager who is looking to step up, or an experienced Manager or Senior Manager, looking to become a Partner in the next 3-5 years, depending on experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but highly successful firm of chartered accountants in a general practice capacity where you will manage a portfolio of work across a range of accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT with the support of a small team. This opportunity would especially suit somebody who is keen to become a partner in the future.  There is a very clear route to future partnership and the firm promotes a lovely, relaxed working environment too. There is also an established client portfolio ready to work on.

You will be responsible for a very varied client portfolio, across a wide range of industry sectors, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies varying in turnovers, size and complexity.  

As a Partner Designate in Eats Kent, Kent you will be responsible for:

  • Manage a varied client portfolio, ensuring deadlines and client needs are met.
  • Review and preparation of annual accounts, VAT, payroll, tax returns, and other statutory requirements.
  • Lead client meetings, answering any queries and proactively offering support.
  • Assist with general tax planning, working closely with the team.
  • Supporting junior members of staff.
  • Contribute to the firm’s growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
Requirements

As a Partner Designate in East Kent, you will be:

  • You will be ACA/ ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice.
  • You will have worked as either a Senior or a Manager within a practice environment and have hands-on experience in accounts, tax and VAT.
  • Experience with Cloud Accounting software would be advantageous- Xero,Sage or QuickBooks etc.
  • Previous experience of motivating a team and supporting junior staff.
