Test Technician

Sandwich (full UK driving licence required due to location)

My client is looking for a Test Technician to join their growing team. If you have experience working to component level with PCBs and are looking for a new role with a reputable organisation, then this could be the role for you!

The key duties for this role include:

  • Working in a time sensitive environment testing a range of analogue and digital products.
  • Working from circuit diagrams, you will diagnose and identify issues within an electronic system by examination of individual components.
  • Using a range of tools and equipment to carry out tests.
  • Ensuring compliance to test specifications and following processes and procedures.
  • Using your problem-solving skills to identify failures and use appropriate tools to test equipment.
  • Wiring, soldering, quality inspection where necessary.
  • Working to component level on a range of PCBs.
  • Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • A solid background in electronics manufacturing environments.
  • Experience testing and fault-finding to component level.
  • The ability to understand circuit diagrams.
  • Tech savvy, able to use various digital software.
  • A good work ethic .
  • Willing to upskill , or use additional knowledge in wiring, soldering and fitting.
  • Great communication skills.
  • The right to work in the UK permanently with no restrictions – this is essential.
