Production Operative

Mechanical / Electro Mechanical Assembler

Location: Sandwich

Job Purpose:

Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components based on engineering drawings and instructions, ensuring high-quality standards and safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely complete tasks following health and safety policies.
  • Use hand/bench tools effectively.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions.
  • Maintain quality throughout all assembly tasks.
  • Follow instructions from the Line Manager and team.
  • Work independently or as part of a team.
  • Conduct supplier/customer visits (requires a valid driver's license and passport).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education in English, Maths, and a science subject.
  • Experience in mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly.
  • ESD experience preferred but not essential.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, including torque drivers.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and maintain quality standards.
