We are working with an established manufacturer in the Ramsgate area who are looking for a Stores Operative to join their team on a permanent basis, in office.

You will play a crucial role in the operations, ensuring the smooth handling of goods and materials.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Handling good in activities, including receipting, counting, and ERP data entry.
  2. Maintaining the warehouse, managing stock movements and control using the ERP system.
  3. Allocating stock and kitting components into Work Packages.
  4. Ensuring traceability of goods and materials.
  5. Preparing materials for shipping and receiving goods after external processing.
  6. Packing goods for dispatch according to industry standards or customer requirements.
  7. Booking couriers and dispatching goods, ensuring Export Compliance rules are followed.
  8. Performing general maintenance activities.
  9. Driving details as required.
  10. Any additional tasks as required by the line management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Forklift License (Preferable but not essential)
  • English and Maths, GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent)
  • Previous warehouse experience (not essential)

Skills & Abilities:

  • Effective written and oral communication.
  • Computer Literate (MS Office Packages).
  • Multi-Skilled.
  • Good Communicator.
