Graduate Town Planner

Location: Kent (Sandwich)

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a forward-thinking planning consultancy who is looking to recruit a Graduate Planner. This is an excellent role for someone passionate about shaping communities and enhancing urban environments, with a strong desire to learn from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the planning team with development proposals and planning applications
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports and site assessments
  • Conducting research on planning policies and local development plans
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders to support the planning process
  • Assisting in the submission of applications and coordinating with local authorities

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Town Planning, Urban Design, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Enthusiasm to develop your skills within a collaborative team environment
  • A proactive, flexible attitude and the ability to think critically
