We have a great opportunity to join the team as a Loss Prevention Team Officer working for a well-known company in Kent.
The rate of the pay is £16.32 per hour.
This is a full-time role. You will be working a 42-hour week, working 4 days on 4 off and 4 nights 4 off basis and the shifts are 12 hours. This means you need to be flexible to work Monday to Sunday.
Your Time at Work
As a Security Officer, you will ensure the safety of our customers staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.
It's a varied role and your duties will include the following:
- Carrying out all duties and instructions given by Leading Officers and Supervisors.
- Being familiar with the contents of the Assignment Instructions and associated procedures.
- Providing an obvious security presence, assisting staff, visitors, and members of the public, and always remaining calm and polite.
- Thinking outside of the box and going that extra mile to assist tenants and guests.
- Reporting any suspicious activity including possible Hostile Reconnaissance or suspicious vehicles.
- Operating the CCTV system where necessary and reacting to incidents.
- Completing all paperwork accurately and neatly and forward to the appropriate personnel as required.
- Ensuring all incidents are dealt with and that Incident procedures are adhered to.
- Providing First Aid assistance when required, following First Aid training supplied.
- Being professional when answering the telephone and dealing with inquiries
- Reporting any breakages or abnormalities noticed during patrols.
- Carrying out any reasonable requests made by Senior Managers
- Supporting the Loss Prevention Programme inclusive of Fire Safety, Property, and Security.
Our Perfect Worker
You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.
The successful candidate will hold a valid SIA Licence and have experience working in the security industry.
You must have a driving license and access to your own vehicle.
Corporate experience is preferred.
