Design Engineer - Sandy - £40,000 to £45,000 + Benefits and Pension and career progression
Melbreck Technical are working with a leading designer and manufacturer of special purpose machinery based near Sandy.
Due to planned growth within their technical team, they are looking to hire a Design Engineer to join their business ASAP.
Design Engineer - Main Duties:
To work within the design team on a comprehensive range of equipment.
Design new equipment using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
Work with the production team to solve build and prototype issues.
Advise customers, when necessary, on bespoke equipment design.
Work with the entire technical team to deliver on deadlines.
Be able to deal directly with suppliers to obtain prices and delivery times.
Design Engineer experience required:
Autodesk Inventor
AutoCAD
Special Purpose Machinery Design
Understanding of Machined Parts and Tolerances
Design Engineer Hours and Benefits:
8:30 am 5:00 pm
Pension
Flexible working policy (start and finish times)
22 days Annual Leave, plus 8 days bank holidays
Holiday allowance increases with time served
Availability to do overtime
