Panel Wirer, Sandy £16.00 + OVT

We are looking to recruit a hands-on Panel Wirer to work in an industrial environment producing food manufacturing equipment. This is a factory-based role but may require occasional travel to remote manufacturing sites.
 
Responsibilities 

  • Building Control panels to technical drawings, including cutting and fitting of wire ducting and din rail.
  • Wiring Control panels to electrical schematic drawings. • Testing Control panels to relevant documentation. 
  • Fault finding Control panels. Additional knowledge/experience that would be beneficial to the candidate.
  • Practical Electrical wiring experience in an industrial environment. Mechanical experience would also be beneficial. 
  • Can manage a dynamic workload and have a flexible approach to the role whilst maintaining excellent problem-solving       abilities and an eye for details.
  • Is experienced in reading and interpreting technical drawings and interpreting data in written/numerical form on electrical systems. 
  •  Works well as an individual and effectively within a group. 


Additional Details 

You would be contracted to work 39 hours per week, 
Working Hours: Monday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm Tuesday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.30 pm Wednesday/Thursday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 5.00 pm Friday 7.30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime). 
Overtime is generally available and paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.
