We’re seeking a Part-Trained Trainee Electrician to join our team, working on exciting projects across the commercial and industrial sectors. As a Part-Trained Trainee Electrician, you’ll build on your existing knowledge by assisting experienced engineers with installations, maintenance, and testing. You’ll work alongside qualified engineers on projects, gaining practical experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assisting qualified engineers with electrical installations, maintenance, and testing
- Perform minor civil duties, such as clearing cable routes or drilling, as part of installation tasks.
- Support testing of circuits and cabling, recording results under supervision.
- Assist in completing and submitting test certifications and documentation.
- Prepare and check equipment before work, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Work on-site with customers, maintaining a professional approach and discussing ongoing work.
- Follow all health and safety procedures
About you:
- Partially completed electrical training, with at least 1 years of experience and education.
- Basic understanding of electrical installations, testing, and maintenance.
- Commitment to developing skills and working towards full qualification.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices, including RAMS documentation.
- A valid UK driving license.
