Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:  Sandy, up to £17.50 p/h (depending on experience) + OVTWe are looking to recruit a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our client, a well-established Engineering and Manufacturing Company. Although both mechanical as well as electrical skills and experience are required, this role is more mechanical biased Responsibilities 

  • Maintaining various site machinery including Machine Shop Mills, Lathes, and Drills/ Sheet-Metal & Fabricating machines including hand tools, polishers, heaters etc.
  • Assembling and fitting new equipment.
  • Carrying out electrical works around our site.
  • Plumbing.
  • Cover general site maintenance and breakdowns.
  • To carry out a policy of quality engineering when working in the factory / on site.
  • To maintain standards on safety, hygiene, discipline, attendance, and good time keeping.

Additional Details You would be contracted to work 39 hours per week.Working Hours: Monday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm Tuesday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.30 pm Wednesday/Thursday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 5.00 pm Friday 7.30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime). Overtime is generally available and paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.
