Salary: £12.00 – £16.00 P/H
Days only - fixed term contract
Orion Electrotech are working with a world leading supplier who are looking for an efficient and motivated Production Line Leader to join their production team. As a Production Line Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations, maximising productivity, maintaining product quality, and supporting your team in achieving daily targets.
Production Line Leader Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiency: Address production or quality issues affecting output and communicate targets to your team. Recommend and implement improvements to maximise line efficiency.
- Productivity: Organise and motivate your team to achieve agreed targets, while reducing waste.
- Product Quality: Ensure all products meet the required specifications, including quality control, packaging, and labelling. Minimise rework through a "Right First Time" approach.
- Administration: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Team Development: Help foster a supportive work environment by assisting in team training and development.
Production Line Leader Requirements:
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to organise, motivate, and lead a small team.
- Good literacy, numeracy, and computer skills.
- Flexible and proactive approach to work.
- Experience working with production machinery.
- Manufacturing experience ideal.
