Sonic Summary

Our engineering manufacturing client in Great Gransden is seeking a multi-skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their respected team.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in welding and fabrication of stainless steel equipment and be skilled in both Tig and Synergic Mig welding.
This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to health and safety, and the ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
The position offers a salary of £18.00 per hour, with additional benefits including an annual bonus based on company performance and a pension scheme.
Candidates should have relevant experience in the field, although the specific number of years required is not mentioned.

Our engineering manufacturing client based in Great Gransden are looking for a multi skilled Welder / Fabricator to join their well established & respected team.

The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach to the role as well as a positive and can do attitude.

Main Responsibilities

Welding and fabrication in stainless steel material 1.0mm – 12mm thickness including pipework/purge

Work within a team, either in the main production area or if applicable on a client’s site
Be aware of all aspects including Health & Safety, Production, Inspection and Discipline.
Maintain standards on safety, hygiene, discipline, attendance, and good time keeping.

Skills

Previous experience in welding & fabrication of stainless steel equipment
Skills of both Tig & Synergic Mig welding
Able to read & understand engineer drawings
Understand tolerances & bend allowances
Carry out a policy of quality engineering when working in the factory / on site
