My client are a leading business in Agriculture and Property and are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of the Accounts Payable and Receivable function and assist in aspects of the month end process to prepare accounts for the external accountant

Client Details

My client are a leading agriculture business across East Anglia with a large property portfolio. Having been established for over 60 years, they have a leading presence in this field and are market leading in what they do.

Description

  • Responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Payable function
  • Dealing Accounts receivable.
  • Working with our outsourced accountants to keep updated and accurate records.
  • Assisting with credit control.
  • Overseeing day to day financial operations.
  • Answering Finance related queries.
  • Management of day to day bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports including Profit and Loss statements, Balance Sheets.
  • Assist in the budgeting process and ensure financial plans align with company goals.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes

Profile

The successful candidate will have a proven record in Bookkeeping and day to day management of all Financial Transactions of a business, along with strong system and excel skills. A Professional qualification would be desirable and AAT preferred. You must be local to the area and have the ability to work well across multiple areas of a business.
