Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Semi Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will be working towards an ACA or ACCA qualification and have at least three years of experience in an accountancy practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Preparation of VAT, corporation, and personal tax returns.
  • Advising and resolving queries for a portfolio of clients in a timely manner.
  • Working alongside client managers and Senior Accountants to manage client workloads and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members.
  • Maintaining high standards of technical proficiency and attention to detail.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Studying towards AAT qualification.
  • Minimum of three years of practice experience.
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Confident in meeting and speaking with clients.
