We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join us in supporting our Bristol schools, going out on a mix of 1:1 support and general teaching assistant duties. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location: Bristol
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for group support/1:1 support, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils, small group work, reading, forest school opportunities
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of pay : 95 - 115
Hours: 08:30 - 16:00
EXPERIENCE
Desirable:
*Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)
*Experience of working in Primary Schools
*Experience of inclusive classroom practice
*An understanding/awareness of supporting SEND requirements
*Previous experience of supporting learning using a range of strategies, both with groups and on a 1:1 basis
*Drives (ideal but not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
