About the Role
Are you an experienced Senior Agent with a proven track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team on a major highways scheme, which is just entering the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase. This high-profile project will shape the future of transport and connectivity in the region.

As a Senior Agent, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing key project elements, including ECI works, Construction Test Plans (CTPs), and Lifting Plans. You will ensure the project progresses efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

ECI Works:

  • Lead and coordinate early contractor involvement activities, contributing to efficient and cost-effective design and construction solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders and design teams to identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering initiatives.

Construction Test Plans:

  • Develop and implement detailed construction test plans to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Monitor and review testing progress, providing guidance and support to the site team.

Lifting Plans:

  • Prepare and approve detailed lifting plans, ensuring compliance with LOLER regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the lifting team and Appointed Persons to guarantee safe and efficient lifting operations.
  • Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring adherence to program schedules, budgets, and health & safety requirements.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of works.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a senior role on large infrastructure or highways schemes.
  • Strong expertise in ECI works, CTPs, and lifting operations.
  • A valid Lifting Appointed Person qualification (or willingness to attain).
  • Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and site management tools.
