Search are delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Financial Controller for our client's Edinburgh office with hybrid working. Reporting to the CEO, the Financial Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of the company through effective business partnering, preparing monthly management accounts, annual accounts and cash-flow forecasting.

Your responsibilities include:
* Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts.
* Conducting cash-flow forecasting to ensure financial stability.
* Overseeing the preparation of annual accounts.
* Engaging key internal and external stakeholders in business partnering capacity.
* Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls and procedures.
* Providing strategic financial advice to support business decisions.
* Managing the finance team and ensuring continuous professional development.
* Liaising with external auditors and managing audit process.
Skills and experience that will benefit your application:
* Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Proven experience in a financial controller or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
* Knowledge of financial software and advanced Excel skills.
* Demonstrable leadership ability.
