Part Time Accountant

Are you looking for a part time Accountant role in the Scarborough area? Would you like to work for a small well established manufacturing business where you would also get involved in other areas of the business?

 Do you want to work in an accounting job where you can make a difference and review processes and procedures, working closely with the general manager and gaining more commercial experience across the business.

What the Part Time Management Accountant job involves

• Producing the monthly management accounts
• Cashflow forcasting
• Profit and loss
• Pre payments and Accruals
• Manage and renegotiate all business insurances
• Managing the relationship with the bank and other stakeholders
• Reviewing the stock control process
• Providing regular reporting and maintaining the deadlines for posting
• Reporting into the Financial Controller in Europe

Skills required

• Previous use of Sage 50 is advantageous
• Experience of working in a Management Accountant or other Accountant position
• Able to work on your own initiative
• Problem solver with ideas to improve systems and processes
• Manufacturing industry experience

Other information

• Part time 20-25 hours a week
• Carparking and easily commutable on the bus or train
• Flexibility on working hours and some Hybrid could be an option
