This company are a design and build company who focus on the modular and offsite construction industry. They pride themselves on exceptional quality of all their buildings and designs from start to finish. They work in numerous sectors, but at the moment they are focussing on the education sector. They provide a service from initial design through to completion and are experiencing extremely high growth with a large order book on their hands. Due to this, they are looking for a Junior Design Technician to join their close-knit, family feel team.

In this role you will be based in their head office in Scarborough. Your main task will be to be responsible for delivering an effective design process. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be working within the design team, encouraging effective design with a strong level of communication and coordination with the construction team. You will review the designs to ensure compliance with the construction projects. You will work on multiple projects at a time, overseeing and contributing to the full design process to ensure every aspect of the project runs smoothly, with no technical issues.

This role would therefore ideally suit an ambitious individual with a construction background, whether this is a construction related degree or experience in construction design, who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will need to have experience using AutoCAD and be happy to be office based.

• Previous experience construction (Degree/Qualification/Experience)
