Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across the transport and logistics divisions, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team, fostering a high-performance culture with strong communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and operational improvements.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety, legal, and industry regulations, including holding a minimum National CPC.
  • Manage the budget and oversee financial performance, including cost control, revenue optimisation, and profitability analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies across the business.
  • Handle performance management, setting clear targets and KPIs for teams and individuals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure business goals and objectives are met.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality services and ensuring client expectations are exceeded.

Qualifications:

  • CPC (National minimum)
  • Proven leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities in a senior role.
  • Strong experience in operations management and staff supervision within the transport or logistics industry.
  • Financial management and budgeting expertise with strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of transportation and logistics operations, including 3PL services.
