Are you an experienced CNC Turner looking for a new challenge? Staff Power Group, working closely with our client in Scarborough, is seeking a skilled professional to join a busy workshop specialising in precision-engineered components for a variety of industries. This is your chance to work on high-quality projects in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Produce Precision Components: Manufacture high-quality parts efficiently and accurately to meet production requirements.
  • Programming Expertise: Create programs and production methods for new parts.
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC turning machines with FANUC controls.
  • Inspection & Quality Control: Perform first-off inspections using gauges and measuring instruments to ensure components meet exact specifications.
  • Team Contribution: Support production planning, material ordering, and day-to-day workshop operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain a clean, organized work environment and actively contribute to ISO9001 processes.

What Were Looking For

  • Strong experience with CNC turning machines and programming.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings with both imperial and metric dimensions.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical engineering and machining principles.
