IT Service Desk Analyst
Edinburgh, 30k + 11% pension

Your new company
An exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst to join a successful fintech organisation and help them shape their new in-house service desk operations.
This company has been operating for more than 20 years and works with many leading organisations within the financial services sector. They employ around 150 staff and have a modern HQ office in Edinburgh.

This role is based on-site at Edinburgh Park.


Your new role
Working closely with the IT Service Desk Manager, you will ensure that effective support is provided across IT operations and the service desk operates efficiently and gives confidence to the business.
You will have experience operating within an ITIL environment.
and be confident working under key service metrics such as time, success rates and customer satisfaction.

As this service is being brought in house for the first time, you will be the main point of contact for any IT and service issues across the organisation. It's essential you have strong communication skills and liaise with users at all levels.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience using service desk platforms as well as working in a ticketing and remote support environment.
This is a rare opportunity to be involved in a new service desk being set up and therefore offers the chance to contribute to key decisions around designing procedures and best practice.
