Your Role:

As an Electronic Field Monitoring Officer, you'll play a key part in:

  • Installing and decommissioning electronic monitoring equipment in the homes of those subject to electronic monitoring.
  • Visit the homes of those on curfew, with the purpose of installing and calibrating monitoring equipment, so that the person on curfew can be detected within the boundaries of their property.
  • Installation and upkeep of electronic monitoring devices
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless operations and clear communication
  • Delivering top-notch customer service to individuals under electronic monitoring

What You Bring:

  • Full UK Driving License - Manual (not automatic) - No more that 9 points
  • Extensive travel within the UK - Car & fuel car provided for work purposes
  • No prior experience needed - we'll provide all the training you need!
  • BPSS clearance - Full 3 year work history with gaps of over 28 days covered
  • Basic DBS clearance (or a willingness to obtain one)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with an excellent standard of verbal English
  • Ability to work flexibly, both independently and as part of a dynamic team
  • Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Vehicles-

Vehicles to be provided in week 2 so should get public transport when they return after the weekend as a hire car vehicle will be provided for business purposes only.

They should sign a declaration and a device will be fitted (no personal use at all - even to move the vehicle on a driveway is deemed personal

Working Hours-

This contract is 27/7/365.

That the shift pattern covers 7 days per week, 24 hours, the majority of shifts 4pm to 2am, a 7.5 hour shift.

Pay rate - £12.92 per hour, paid weekly on a Friday for the hours worked the previous week.

Overtime:

Overtime - is paid when an individual has worked over 37.5 . Monday to Friday Single Time. Saturday 1.5 Sunday/BH's double time. If the BH is a none scheduled day and you have agreed to do OT you are paid double time with no day off in lieu as this is already equated in your annual/hourly leave entitlement

Breaks-

Breaks - over 6 hours receive a 20 minute paid break. Over 8 hours receive an unpaid 30 minute break

Holiday

25 days plus 8 days bank holidays (post 12 weeks)
