A leading company in the manufacturing and engineering sector is seeking an Electromechanical Design Engineer to join its Design & Development team. This department plays a crucial role in ensuring product safety, reliability, and compliance with international standards. Operating within a factory setup with a dedicated design team and development lab, the role involves supporting product innovation and technical advancements to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute product designs, including drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs), using tools such as SAP, CREO, and AutoCAD.
  • Ensure compliance with design standards, project specifications, and internal processes.
  • Create, modify, and validate BOMs and drawings of parts and sub-assemblies while considering technical, customer, and supply chain requirements.
  • Support prototype verification and validation in laboratories and assist in customer Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
  • Collaborate with commercial and contract teams to review and refine specifications.
  • Maintain and update design documentation, including instruction manuals and commissioning guidelines.
  • Ensure product performance compliance and contribute to manufacturing robustness.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D) and Lean Six Sigma is desirable.
