PE Teacher

Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and passionate PE Teacher OR Sports coach specialist to join a reputable Secondary School in September. As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for educating students on the in line with the national curriculum, teaching both theory and practical lessons. As a PE Teacher you will be teaching from KS3-KS4 and embed yourself fully into the PE department.

Duties:- Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons to students of all ages- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and teamwork- Develop lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and educational standards- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on their performance- Promote good sportsmanship, fair play, and positive behaviour management strategies- Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education into interdisciplinary learning opportunities

Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification- Strong knowledge of physical education principles, techniques, and best practices- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Experience in sports coaching or leading physical activities- Ability to effectively manage student behaviour in a classroom setting- Organisational skills to plan lessons, manage equipment, and maintain records
