Be Personnel is currently looking for a Deckhand and Skipper to work with their client based within the Scourie area.

This is NOT working on rotation and will be based full time in Scourie, so this role would require re-location, however there are accommodation options available.

Relocation support in regards to accommodation is provided

Main Duties will involve but not be limited to:

  • Operating the vessel to relevant MCA Regulations and company H&S standards
  • Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the vessels
  • Maintaining essential logs i.e. Servicing, Engine Room, Fuel Room and more
  • Whilst working under the supervision of the Senior Skipper help to maximise effective use of the Vessels specifically within the following key areas:

Harvests
Feed Deliveries
Site Service
Bath Treatments
Moorings
Fish Farming

The successful candidate' should have:

  • A Commercial Endorsement Powerboat Level 2 ticket (can be considered without)
  • Previous proven experience within a similar role
  • Flexibility with working times
  • The ability to work within a physical role in all outdoor conditions
  • Due to the remote location, having a licence and your own vehicle is essential

This is a fulltime position working Monday to Friday between the hours of (Apply online only) (this will change with seasonal changes) with weekends on a rota basis.

Flexibility in respect of overtime is essential and in return, along with a competitive standard rate there will be enhanced rates of pay where additional hours are worked.

Salary is negotiable based on skills, experience and qualifications.
