This role is for a Company Accountant within the industrial/manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reporting, and ensuring legal compliance in our Scunthorpe office. The role will move to hybrid working after probation.

Description
- Finance Business Partnering across a variety of stakeholders
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
- Manage company ledgers and daily financial transactions.
- Monitor financial performance by tracking metrics and outcomes.
- Oversee payroll functions to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Use financial software (Sage) to streamline business processes.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts for management review.
- Coordinate with external auditors for periodic audits and reviews.
Profile
A successful Company Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing sector is desirable.
- Proficiency in financial software, preferably Sage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
