A well-established accountancy firm in Scunthorpe is seeking a Senior/Semi-Senior Accountant with ideally 2 years of experience.
The role requires AAT/ACCA qualification and involves preparing financial statements, managing bookkeeping, payroll functions, and processing tax returns.
Candidates should have experience using accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero, and possess strong communication skills.
The position offers a very competitive salary (dependent on experience), additional leave, on-site parking, and full study support for ACCA qualification.
This is a full-time or part-time opportunity, working Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours per week.

Senior / Semi-Senior Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an AAT / ACCA qualified Senior / Semi-Senior Accountant with ideally 2 years of experience to join a well-established accountancy firm.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements & reports, as well as managing bookkeeping & payroll functions.

You will be responsible for:

Processing VAT and Corporation Tax returns.
Handling Self-Assessment Tax returns.
Providing technical support to senior partners.
Mentoring and training junior team members.

What we are looking for:

Previously worked as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Qualified / Part-Qualified AAT / ACCA Accountant.
ideally have 2 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
Competence in using accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
Strong communication and ability to manage and develop client portfolios.
