M4 Recruitment are looking to recruit several Asbestos Removal Operatives to work in key locations around scunthorpe

Your core responsibilities will include: Performing asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning within Utilities Sector. Adhering strictly to the issued Plans of Work, current UK legislation, comprehensive specifications, and the company Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety guidelines. Following directives from the Asbestos Removal Supervisor.

Ensuring proper usage, maintenance, and care of all provided Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protective Equipment, and Asbestos Removal plant and equipment, immediately reporting any malfunctions or defects. Key Responsibilities: Implement asbestos removal and encapsulation tasks in line with the approved RAMS and our Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure all operations align with current UK guidance and regulations. Uphold and prioritise health and safety for all colleagues and individuals affected by our works. Maintain daily records relating to onsite legislative requirements. Operate under the guidance of the site supervisor, ensuring a clear understanding and adherence to the RAMS. Use asbestos removal tools, plant and equipment appropriately, as per training and manufacturer's recommendations, and promptly report any concerns or defects. Ensure thorough decontamination post-operations to prevent any asbestos spread beyond the designated work area. Participate actively in QHSE and removal meetings, contributing to discussions and feedback.

This is a 12 week temp to perm position for the right person(s)

You will be required to have the following CSCS card Asbestos Awareness or similar qualifiation Full UK driving licence with own transport as this is site based work Full PPE including Respirator with face fit check and overalls
