Job Title: Trainee Machine Operator

Location: Rainham Steel Co Ltd, Althorpe Wharf, Scunthorpe

Salary: Minimum Salary of £552.50 per week (£13.00 p/h) depending on experience

Job type: Full Time

As a result of ongoing growth and expansion, Rainham Steel a leading UK steel stockholder requires trainee machine operatives to work at our Althorpe Wharf, Scunthorpe depot. The role:

• Reporting to the warehouse manager
• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
• Load the machine, set different shapes and quality check the finished product
• Assemble bundles for packing
• Physically able to cope with reasonable manual handling
• Flexible to do paid overtime when necessary
• Basic working hours 6am - 3.30pm, 42.5 hour Per week

• Ability to communicate with a wide range of people
• Able to work in a fast-paced pressurised environment
• You must have a good command of the English language
• Must be a good time keeper.
