Class 1 Driver

Job Title: Class 1 HGV Driver (Days or Nights) – Scunthorpe

Location: Scunthorpe, DN16
Salary: £180 per day (10-hour shifts), £200 for longer shifts

Shift Patterns:

Days: Start between 3am and 5am
Nights: Start between 3pm and 6pm
Monday to Friday with optional weekend work available
Fixed weekend shifts are also an option
 

Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team based in Scunthorpe. This role offers a variety of different runs, with shifts averaging 10 hours and a maximum of 2 drops per shift, including container and fridge work. You’ll benefit from regular daily bonuses and occasional single drop routes to Motherwell.

Key Responsibilities:

• Completing maximum of 2 drops per shift
• Occasional pump truck unloading required
• Flexibility to work days, nights, or weekends as preferred
• Regular opportunities for extra weekend work if desired
• Fully paid site tour and training on your first shift

Requirements:

• Must be over 25 years old
• At least 1 year of proven experience driving Class 1 vehicles
• Ability to manage your choice of early or late shift and provide cover when required
