HGV Class 1 Driver Scunthorpe

COPA are seeking 3x Class 1 Drivers for a General Haulage opportunity, based withinnorth-east of Normanton called Scunthorpe

If you would like to become one of our drivers, earning a good weekly wage, with consistent on-going work- this is the opportunity for a dedicated and reliable driver. AM runs are local depot deliveries. PM runs are trunks down South.

When;

Contracts run 7 days a week. Therefore a 4 on 2 off shift pattern is offered. Although we welcome Driver who seek a flexible working calendar.

Weekend work available for those drivers who just love a shift!

AM Shifts predominately start 0600/0900, PM 1830/2000

Key Responsibilities:

-Delivering loads to different locations in the safest and most efficient way.

-Deliver loads, follow assigned routes to effect timely deliveries

- Do Vehicle Pre- and Post-trip Inspections

- Communicate with dispatch and customers appropriately.

Requirements:

- Full C+E Class 1 HGV licence

- A driving record without any serious violations.

- Strong understanding Road Safety Regulations & Principles.

- Solid time management and organisational skills.
