Our client are a leading Builders Merchant providing Building Supplies to a mixture of contractors, house builders, housing associations, and end users.
Due to the companies planning for this year they are looking for an External Sales Executive to join their busy and successful branch.
The role will involve canvassing for new busienss, going out on sites to meet with potential customers and opening accounts for the business. Additionally you will be looking after several Key Account Customers to ensure their needs are met and business is retained and maximised. You will be tasked with growing the branches ledger of customers and providing excellent customer service to your customer base.
It will be important to manage margins, cross-basket sell and upsell wherever possible to obtain the most from each customer.
It is essential that the successful candidate have experience within the Builders Merchant sector and is aware of the current prices of building supplies to ensure that the candidate can hit the ground running.
In exchange, our client are offering the following:
- Basic salary of up to c45k
