Sonic Summary

The position is for a CNC Machinist based in Scunthorpe, working Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4pm with Fridays off.
Candidates should have proven experience in CNC machining and familiarity with Fanuc or hydraulic programming.
The salary is £19.50 per hour, equating to £40,560 annually, with overtime paid at time and a half, increasing to time and three-quarters after 9 hours of overtime.
Benefits include a company pension scheme, on-site parking, and 28 days of annual leave.
An apprenticeship in CNC machining is preferred but not essential, and strong knowledge of machining techniques, tools, and materials is required.

As a CNC Machinist, you will be required to:

Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to machining operations.
Monitor machine operations to quality standards
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure performance.
Troubleshoot issues with machines, tools, and programmes.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.

Experience / Skillset required for this role

Proven experience as a CNC machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Fanuc and hydraulic programming experience
Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tools and materials.
Apprenticeship trained in CNC machining is preferred but not essential.
